Whether you live in an apartment, a condo, in the city, the burbs or the country, what does that place mean to you?
Many people say a house should be a home. It seems a home is a place where we can relax, with our family or by our ourselves.
What does your house mean to you?
To me, it is my solace, where all of the messes are mine, as well as the other family member, but the piles we have, possess our important and current items, that are next on our agenda. Our agendas seem to be long term, because we are always planning to do something.
How about the housework, in order to maintain a home. Does a sweeky clean home represent a place of peace, or there are issues within those walls?
Who's responsibility is it? Who does the yard, the garden, (if you have one) waters the plants and feeds the animals? In fact, who actually takes the trash out?
Is it someones responsibility to tell the other(s) what must be done to create a great home?
My dear friends and I fret about the condition about our homes, if dishes get left, or laundry is not done up. But I find when I enter their houses, they are comfortable and welcoming. I feel at home there, and I feel they are happy to see me.
Do you have a happy home? What makes you feel that you do? Is there arguing, and yelling, or discussions of current issues?
Perhaps these questions are too personal for you and you feel it is no one's business what goes on in your home? Is it a place of struggle, or inspired by love?
Do you have an idea about the way you look at your home? Are you comfortable there? Do your friends seem to enjoy coming to your house? When you leave work or another appointment, do you look forward to going home?
